1. Download the kabshare.zip from the main page.
2. Right-click the downloaded kabshare.zip and select "Extract All...".
3. Open the extracted folder and double-click kabshare.exe to run the application.
Running KabShare for the first time:
Because KabShare is a new software, Windows might show a warning: "Windows protected your PC".
To run it anyway:
1. Click the "More info" link under the message.
2. Click the "Run anyway" button that appears.
Note: This warning only appears once. Once you click "Run anyway", it will start directly in the future.
To ensure the integrity of your download, compare the SHA256 checksum of the kabshare.zip file:

KabShare requires a local network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) to share files. Ensure both devices are connected to the same network.
Firewall Notice: When prompted by Windows Firewall, please click "Allow Access".
The app will be listed as "KabShare LAN file Sharing System" in the firewall window.
Ensure that your firewall allows this application to communicate on the local network.
